Amazon Accelerate 2026: Seven Seller Announcements and What to Do About Each Before Q1

Amazon used Accelerate 2026 to turn Seller Central into an operating system. Here is each announcement that matters to brand operators, and the one move to make with it before Q1.

TL;DR: Key Takeaways
  • Seller Assistant is now agentic with memory, so the guardrails you set are the strategy.
  • Seller Central is adding one order view across eBay, Shopify, TikTok and Walmart, which also makes Amazon your system of record.
  • Prime delivery is available on your own site through MCF, with fulfillment fees cut 15 to 25 percent for six months.
  • Before December 31: claim Amazon Quick Plus, confirm Account Health Assurance, and write guardrails for any automation.

The short version: Amazon used Accelerate 2026 (Seattle, September 2026) to turn Seller Central into an operating system. Seller Assistant now remembers your business and runs background workflows. Seller Central is rolling out connections to your eBay, Shopify, TikTok and Walmart orders.

Merchants can put Prime delivery on their own websites and get 15 to 25 percent off fulfillment fees for six months. A Listing Protection Program keeps listings live, in most cases, while a violation is under review. Below is each announcement, what it changes, and the one move we are making with our brands this quarter.

Nearly 4,000 selling partners were in the room, according to Amazon's recap. Many brand teams were heads down on Q4 inventory instead, which is exactly where they should have been. This post is for them.

What did Amazon announce at Accelerate 2026?

Amazon announced seven changes that matter to brand operators, and they share one theme: more of the work happens inside Amazon's tools, run by AI, with the seller approving instead of executing.

1 Seller Assistant goes agentic, with memory Live, rolling (90%+ of selling partners) Set guardrails before you let it act

What changed in Seller Assistant?

Seller Assistant now keeps persistent memory of each seller's pricing patterns, inventory cycles and goals, and it runs workflows in the background, according to Amazon. It can monitor inventory, pricing and account health, then draft or execute actions inside limits you set. Amazon says Seller Assistant needs your approval before it acts on its own, and it logs every action.

Amazon reports that Seller Assistant reaches more than 90 percent of selling partners and that sellers act on its recommendations about 90 percent of the time (Amazon-reported).

That second number is the one to sit with. If nine out of ten recommendations get accepted, the guardrails are the strategy. Before you let any agent touch price or replenishment, write down three limits. The floor price per SKU. The maximum daily bid change you will accept. The weeks of cover you never want to drop below. Then put those limits in the tool.

Three guardrails to set before the agent acts

When nine of ten recommendations get accepted, the limits you write down are the real decision. Put all three in the tool before you let it touch price or stock.

1. Floor price per SKU 2. Max daily bid change you will accept 3. Weeks of cover you never drop below

What is the Seller Assistant plugin for Amazon Quick and Claude?

It is a connector that brings your Seller Assistant data and skills into outside AI tools, in beta for US stores in Amazon Quick and in Claude. Amazon is also giving every primary account holder a free 12-month Amazon Quick Plus subscription, claimable through December 31, 2026, plus access for two co-workers.

The practical value is reporting. Teams that already pull sales trends, inventory and listing data into weekly reviews can cut hours of spreadsheet work. Claim the subscription now even if you test it in January. Free and expiring is a simple decision.

Why does multichannel selling inside Seller Central matter?

It matters because one order view saves real work, and it also makes Amazon the system of record for your whole business. Seller Central is rolling out the ability to connect your eBay, Shopify, TikTok Shop and Walmart accounts, show those orders in one place, and fulfill across channels, according to Amazon. The rollout is gradual for US sellers at no added cost.

Amazon says more than 95 percent of independent sellers already sell on multiple channels (Amazon-reported). For a brand running Amazon and Walmart side by side, that trade deserves a deliberate decision. Check what data you are sharing, and keep your own reporting copy outside any single platform.

How does Prime delivery on your own website work now?

Merchants can add fast, free Prime delivery to their own websites through Multi-Channel Fulfillment, at no additional cost beyond standard MCF fees. Amazon says it works through a Shopify app or the Selling Partner API (September 24 announcement). A new MCF Preferred Pricing program cuts fulfillment fees 15 to 25 percent for the first six months, with no contract.

Amazon reports that sellers using both FBA and MCF reduced out-of-stock rates by an average of 19 percent and improved inventory turnover by an average of 12 percent (Amazon-reported).

Here is the math we run with DTC brands. Take your current 3PL cost per order for your top 20 SKUs. Compare it to MCF at the discounted rate. Then compare it again at the full rate in month seven. If the deal only works during the discount, it is a promotion, not a plan.

The MCF Preferred Pricing window

The discount runs for six months. Your decision should clear the rate that arrives in month seven, not the promotional one.

Months 1 to 6: fees cut 15 to 25 percent promotional rate, no contract Month 7 on: full MCF fees

What changed for selling internationally?

Amazon announced single-submission compliance testing that counts across multiple countries. It starts with toys and expands to electronics and baby by year end. Amazon also announced Global Warehousing and Distribution, which will send one inbound shipment to multiple countries. Amazon cites up to 60 percent compliance cost savings in pilots, and storage costs up to 45 percent lower than AWD in the US (Amazon-reported).

If you sell in one of those three categories and have avoided Europe or Japan because of compliance cost, this is the quarter to rerun the model.

What is the Listing Protection Program?

It is a new due-process step: when Amazon flags a violation, your listing stays active in most cases until Amazon issues a decision, and you can challenge errors. It reaches US sellers in Account Health Assurance by the end of 2026 and expands worldwide in 2027, according to Amazon.

Anyone who has watched a hero ASIN go dark during a peak week over a false flag knows what this is worth. The action is simple: confirm every account you run is enrolled in Account Health Assurance before the holiday surge.

What ads tools did Amazon show at Accelerate?

Amazon showed Ads Data Manager, which connects first-party data to campaigns. It also showed auto-optimization for Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands, which adds performing search terms and pauses weak ones while honoring your bid caps. Amazon cites 30 percent better ROAS for Ads Data Manager and a 40 percent faster first sale on new campaigns using auto-optimization (Amazon-reported; the 40 percent figure is from early results).

Run auto-optimization on one campaign set with a manual twin and compare TACoS after four weeks. Automation earns budget the same way a new hire does: by proving it on a small scope first.

What ties all of this together?

Shoppers are asking questions now, not typing keywords. Amazon said at Accelerate that more than 350 million customers used Alexa for Shopping (formerly Rufus) in the past 12 months. It also said customers who shop that way spend over 40 percent more per order (Amazon-reported). Every tool above assumes your catalog can answer those questions. We cover how to write for that in our upcoming Alexa for Shopping post.

More than 350 million customers used Alexa for Shopping in the past 12 months, and Amazon says they spend over 40 percent more per order.

Action box: before December 31, 2026
1. Claim Amazon Quick Plus. 2. Confirm Account Health Assurance enrollment. 3. Write guardrails for any Seller Assistant automation. 4. Run the MCF fee math at both discounted and full rates.

Where does TopRank fit?

We have spent five years running Amazon as one system: ads, catalog, creative and operations together. Every one of these announcements makes that more true, not less. More of the work is moving into automated tools, which means the value moves to the people who set the guardrails, read the results and catch what the agent misses.
